How XP Works
XP (Experience Points) measures your engagement on Ghostchain Network. Here's exactly how the system works.
Base Earning Rate
Earn 1 XP per minute watching new content for the first time
First watch, new content
Up to 240 minutes of XP-earning watch time per day. Resets daily.
24-hour cooldown between rewatches of the same content. New content has no cooldown.
XP is earned for positions you haven't watched before. Seeking back won't re-earn XP.
Diminishing Returns
Rewatching the same content earns progressively less XP. This encourages discovering new creators and content while still rewarding repeat engagement.
Live streams bypass the cooldown — you earn XP continuously while the stream is live.

Your accumulated XP is intended to convert to $GHOST tokens. The conversion rate and mechanism will be announced as the token launches.

How We Verify Watch Time
A fair system built on transparency and anti-abuse measures.
Heartbeat Tracking
Your player sends periodic signals every 30 seconds to verify active viewing. Sessions are validated server-side to prevent manipulation.
Position Tracking
The system tracks your furthest watched position per video. Only genuinely new positions earn XP — seeking backwards doesn't count twice.
One Session at a Time
Only one active playback session per account is allowed. This prevents multi-device farming and ensures fair XP distribution.
